It wont be easy for Nadal. First of all, it is end of the fantastic season and he is running out of steam…his agressivity suffered a bit and dont be misleaded by win ober Monfils, yesterday. Number one saved nine break points in order to beat Frenchman. Ok, he is rock solid so far at Paris Masters but if Simon could beat him last week at home turf in Madrid, Russian is able to make many problems.
Davydenko was perfect vs improved Berdych, he played best tennis of the seasonand showed big improvement in almost every department of his game. Of course he cant be rated as favourite here but at this surface he is able to cope with Nadal shots. They played each other four times, Nadal leads 3 - 1 but this season, both players won once. Raffa was dominant in Monte Carlo but Russian beat him in Miami.
We see it as three setter. Simply, Nadal cant destroy Davydenko if Russian keeps level of performance he showed vs Berdych, also probably Spain player cant risk playing at all costs because there is something he will have to keep for season finals.
Pinnacle margin is 21 games…too low in our opinion, we will go for OVER.
