Both players had fine week so far. Serbian Jankovic looked really solid in ousting out of form Daniela Hantuchova, she also beat Canadian Wozniak in previous round. On the other side hot form Vera Zvonareva destroyed Medina Garigues yesterday.
Zvonareva came to Beijing after second title of the season in Guangzhou. She was in terrific form beating two solid and motivated Chinese players on way to crown. So she picked much selfconfidence, it is really unexpected second half of the season for 24 year old, she even took Olympic bronze medal and back to top ten. It is her personal best and Zvonareva really improved a lot.
It looks like Jankovic is finally fit. Injuries and number of matches killed her in most of the last two season. Now she reached US Open final and chasing number one spot again. Serbian girl can play fantastic tennis sometimes, but she is too erratic and serve is main problem.
It is 50 - 50 match, maybe Zvonareva is value on odds around 2.50. but with Jankovic you simply never know. We will go for OVER games, as it could end in three sets. Simply we will see many breaks, tense match, probably lot of great points but also cheap mistakes. OVER 21,5 looks like solid bet.
