Chelsea want win here in order to focus on fight with Liverpool in England, while Roma need good result after five consecutive loses.

In this match Chelsea is absolute favorit in my opinion. Roma have no self confidence and that was obvious against Juventus. They were playing very good and Panucci hit post from header, but after Del Piero’s goal from free kick they just stop. Suddenly they were afraid of loosing. That is not the way a big club should react in that kind of situations. Spalletti lost a control and this is nightmare season for him. Team is even stringer now, but results are not even close to last season. Atmosphere in club is not good, Spalletti is not in good relationship with boards. Roma’s coach is in danger of getting fired if Roma lose this one. In England coach maybe can survive after 5 or 6 loses in a row, but in Italy it’s almost impossible. Spalletti can’t count on Cassetti, Pizarro, Baptista and Aquilani.

Chelsea is looking great. Scollari took over team this summer and from the very beginning he showed how team with so many stars should play. Chelsea’s defense still didn’t concede in CL and they are the only team with United who do that. Chelsea showed his greatness after loss against Liverpool. Their 86 home matches unbeaten run was broken, but there was no bad effect on team in future matches. Contrary, they thrashed Hull with 3 goals and then Sunderland with 5 more. Essien, Carvalho, Ballack, Drogba, Ashley Cole, Joe Cole, they are all injured, but even without all this players Chelsea is great. Substitutes are not any weaker. Anelka is playing again like few seasons ago and that is work of Scollari. Chelsea is not just a group of great players, they are now group of great players and one great team. Everybody knows his job and he is doing it as best as he can. And we all know they can do it without mistake.

Chelsea is flying high in this moment and they expect to secure position in second phase of CL, so they can concentrate on PL, while Roma is in deep problems. Spalletti don’t have support from club, players lost self confidence, fans want someone’s blood and that all suggest away win as normal choice. It’s true that Chelsea had some problems in match few weeks ago against Roma, but this team is in great form and I can’t see how Roma can stay unbeaten. Only chance could be Totti and he is injured, although he will play. It’s not enough for this Chelsea…
