United is taking this encounter pretty serious. After they lost points in the opener against Villareal at home, if they fail to win this one they could get in problems later in the group stage. It is not that anyone doubt that United will reach knock-out stage, but failing to win in this one would make them play with the strongest lineup in the next four games which could make problems in the Premier League where they are lacking points and are already 4 points down to Chelsea. Also, Ferguson is aware that he gambled once with Danish champions and lost, so he will not take this win for granted. We are not saying that United will field the best possible team, but they will field respectfull one, capable to win this matche easily.

After win against Bolton, it looks like United is slowly coming back to the form we all know them for. Rooney finally scored, Ronaldo is back with two goals in two starts and even more important United is creating chances again. To be honest, I don’t think that Ronaldo will start this one. He had two starts in a first week after recovery and he will probably need some rest for upcoming weekend. On the other hand, Rooney and Berbatov will probably be in the starting lineup. Rooney had only 20 minutes in last 2 games and finally scored, while Bulgarian is still looking for the first goal in red shirt and this looks like excellent opportunity. Ferguson will probably field some of the squad players like O’Shea, but that won’t change much.

Aalborg had a lot of luck to come to this stage at all. I am not forgetting that they took a goaless draw against Celtic away, but you can not say that they offer too much in that game. Also, they lost one of the defenders Jakobsen and it is big question question how good the replacements are. They are in pretty bad form judging by recent results in Denmark. In the last match, in Danish cup, they needed extratime to secure a win against lower league opponent and it speaks enough.

So, my thoughts are that United will create a lot of chances in this game and if everything goes like it should, they should open scoring in the first half. If that happen, second half could be a disaster for Danish team and they could concede loads. Pinnacle is offering 2.00 for away win on asian handicap +1.5 and it is excellent bet for me.
