For Chicago this game could be seen as back to basics. Ok, their offence is surprisingly improved, but you know, Bears are team that can make big things just playing hard defence. And they looked awful vs Minnesota allowing 439 yards and 41 points. They won, and it is only important but we think Bears will try to work on defensive approach tonight.
Their opponent Lions are without win, playing somewhat better on the road but without any gain. They were already beaten by Bears this season at home, it was game they lost also quarter back John Kitna. Dan Orlovsky stepped up, but there were no real threat as Bears won it 34 - 7. But Lions improved in last three games losing by average of 5.7 points. They are playing better but just cant hold the lead like last week vs Washington. However, we believe they can stay under the handie, but cap. Firstly we want to take lowscoring game but we are afraid of Chicago defensive fragility.
Unless rejuvenated Kyle Orton deosnt repeat fantastic performance from first game, we believe Lions will lose, but they can stay under 12,5 handicap. But we found better bet, take Lions in first half with +7,5 handicap. Like last week vs Redskins they will keep it close…
